You do know that I’m not actually narcissist right?
I hope you appreciate this reply because most people would just tell you to fuck right off.
I know I make jokes about it a lot, and it obviously stems from somewhere, but let me tell you how it is, Anon.
I usually am VERY happy with how I look and with who I am, and I see absolutely nothing wrong with that. This blog and all of my other social outlets are expressions of myself and my thoughts, and if I think I look good or if I think I did something well, I’m not going to hide it! It just so happens that I express these self-positive thoughts more often than most people do. So naturally jokes about me being a narcissist came about.
However, narcissism extends far beyond just vanity. I’ll admit that I care probably too much about how I look, and that vanity is definitely a flaw that I have. But narcissism also means that I will always put myself before others, that I must always be in power, that I can’t take criticism, and that I over exaggerate how amazing I am at everything. The list actually goes on and on, it’s on wikipedia and it’s quite interesting, I’d say. But the point here is that while, yes, I do have some narcissistic qualities, the overwhelming majority do not apply to me.
I will not go out of my way and step on others just to get what I want, I am glad to be a follower, I generally have zero true confidence in my abilities, and I like to think that I take criticism very well when the criticism is constructive.
So what I do know is that what I am is not actually a narcissist.
However.
Who says that being a narcissist is bad? Are narcissists always the most pleasant people? No, probably not. But they are some of the most accomplished. Take Robin Quivers, of the Howard Stern Show. She has this highest narcissist rating of all time on Dr. Drew’s test, but she’s also one of the most powerful and well-known women in radio, and she’s also one of the most well-loved.
Being a narcissist isn’t bad. In fact, being anything that you are isn’t bad. If you’re a narcissist, that’s fine; it may suck for other people sometimes, but you cannot honestly change who you are at the core.
But at the core I am not a narcissist.
Now I’m going to continue to make jokes about how I AM a narcissist because that’s just what I do.

I’m okay with this just because you used the word ‘multitude’. That is a good word.
Regardless of the word, if it comes out of my mouth it becomes a good word.
